Running Order
ARRIVAL @ ST TERESAS, EFFINGHAM, RH5 6ST. 9.15am SHARP. Car park (please follow marshals' instructions). Minibuses and coaches please do not enter the school until 9.15am due to avoiding the normal school traffic, thank you for your help with this.
RACE REGISTRATION 9.20am - 10am Must be done by the team leader/teacher in charge to collect chip bucket.
VOLUNTEER MARSHAL MEETING 10am prompt - meet at the finish flags promptly on the artificial hockey pitch.
TRANSITION is on the tennis courts and opens at 9.20am and closes at 10.15m sharp. No teachers or parents are allowed in transition after this time.
RACE BRIEFING
10.15am PROMPT Please assemble in front of the Nelson Pavilion by the Aquathlon flags on the playing field.
RACE STARTS @ 10.40am (exact year group times will be posted one week before the event please check back and refresh this page)
Groups will need to be in the starting pen ten minutes before their race time. Please note we usually run ahead of time so please listen to the announcements so you know when to go to the start).
TBC 2024: This year the race will run in this order. Please note although the year group running order will remain the same we will update these times a week before the event when the chips have been allocated so please check back then. Times may potentially change on the day under circumstances out of our control (e.g. torrential rain/heatwave) although we do our very best to keep to schedule.

LUNCH - Teams are more than welcome to picnic on the playing field, please supervise children at all times and take your litter home with you.
PRIZE GIVING 2pm (may be subject to change please listen for announcements on the day). Please assemble by the Aquathlon flags at the front of the Nelson Pavilion.

We would love you to come and support your son or daughter in this years Schools Aquathlon Championship. Please make sure you are aware of our photography policy and support our competitors with brilliant sportsmanship. If you have a query on the day please speak to your teacher or team leader in charge and they will speak to the Race Director on your behalf.
There will be refreshments on sale and also this years fantastic Championship T-shirts!

Welcome and thank you for your interest in taking part in the ultimate Schools Aquathlon Championships! Make sure you've read all the race blurb and race rules and you have looked at the timetable to know when you need to be ready to race. Your teacher will be given a map of the course when you arrive on the day, so be sure to get your trainers into transition quickly and get ready to race. Good luck!
